Flower Delivery Places

Has anyone used any of the online ones, and know which ones to avoid? Or does anyone have a florist in the Lincoln Park area that delivers?

1800-flowers, teleflora and a couple ive used and had great success.

I've used 1-800 flowers a lot. Only had 1 issue (delivery delay killed the flowers they sent) and they refunded my $$ that time. So all in all, good experience.

Looks like I am going with 1800flowers. They have an arrangement I like and it is available for local delivery.

Most of those places just have a local place put something together and deliver it.

Just call a local place. You get a better setup for less money (1-800 flowers isn't getting their cut), you keep the money local, blah blah. Plus after you've used them a few times, they recognise you and hook you up.

Some of the places will actually send flowers from their own place via FedEx/UPS. But you'll probably score more points by having an actual flower delivery guy show up, then a box coming in the mail.

Hey Ben, Norton's also does a nice job. They're on Washtenaw. They aren't cheap, though.
