I bouht this boat mid summer and used it about a dozen times, then I got bit by the bug bad and went to an entry level offshore race boat, unfortunately that means that this one now gets to sit outside, and I really dont want to let that happen, its too nice of a boat and I dont really have time to use it anymore.
its a 73 larson, has a rebuilt chrysler marine 85hp outboard on it, newer steering controls, fishing seats, a newer floor, and i repainted the top to red from faded green. it starts up easy and has never left me stranded. ive topped it out at 40mph with just me in it, does 30 with 4 200lb guys. you can tow a skiier or tuber really easy and it gets on plane at like 5mph. Id say it probably gets about 6mpg as well at full throttle, just putting around it uses hardly any gas at all.
