Damn man, that car runs its ass off!...
In the first pass how come it sounded like the revs didnt increase after the shift?
Beautiful car, glad you got it sorted out! Fast indeed! Now stop being soft and turn it up!
Looks great man! Are you coming to NOET this weekend?
The World Record a GT 47/88 on any LS based car is 8.81. We missed it by .300 ... We're still running a 3.00 gear, w/o C02, moderate boost, and moderate timing. So it's only a matter of time until we dwarf that record with a 8.60-8.70 and then I'm putting a ProMod 94 on it.![]()

Put a real turbo on that thing and not that 94 unless you're class limited. A big turbo can still be turned down and work great. My car went 167 on 12 psi with the big 106 on there. Intake temps never went above 60 LOL. And then you'll never need to buy another turbo. Just change the AMS and let it eat.The World Record a GT 47/88 on any LS based car is 8.81. Because it shifted from 1st to 3rd. Those Hurst pistol grip shifters are hard to get used to.
Thanks Leo, I'm still learning the car at this point. Remember, I'm going from a 10.30 car to 8s.
I'm going to have to see how Wednesday turns out. I plan to go to the TNT, weather is looking ok so far for that. But I think we're gonna catch some rain this Friday.
106 will work better on the street than the smaller turbo. Those little ones will instantly spool and you'll fry the tires anytime you hit the gas. The bigger turbo adds a little delay which will actually help you put power down to the ground. But swapping turbos is easy so you can always run the 94 and then trade up. You got the hard part done which is just getting it to a point where you can race it at the track. Are you going back to the middle east ever again? Thanks everyone.
I had that PTE 106, but I sold it. I really wanted something that I could still roll down the street with. This set up with still allow the car to be streetable.
