First Time Leaving The Garage In 5 Years

I know I've posted about this car in the past, it's a little project that I've been wrenching on since I was a sophomore in HS. Anyways, back in '07 the car had a bad transmission fire. Pretty much everything from the front seats forward burnt. I've been trying to work on it as I have spare time and money over the last few years, but usually go a few months in between working on it. Anyways the last few days I've been busting ASS on it for hours after work each night and finally took it for the first ride since April 2007. Felt awesome to drive it again. Still a few things to do before it's track ready or even street ready, but I'm happy it left the garage and returned on its own power!

Here's a few quick crappy pictures.

Beautiful car! Very nice detail work in the engine compartment. I always love the sight of a good old fashoned, carb'd big block between the fenders.
