Bought this shell last year when I was 18 on my McDonald's budget, stripped it all down and started peeling off all the sound deadening and thenn.....lost interest because I didn't have the money to start on it. It has pretty much been sitting as I've been slowly buying parts for it.
Got an awesome deal on this car, thanks Mike! (79pace). Came with a bunch of parts, frame already tied, wheel lips rolled ect. And thanks for the delivery, Rick (1badford)
This is my first project and I know I'm going to need help and advice along the way. So I'm just going to say THANKS! ahead of time.
My plans for now is a mild 302 with a 5 speed.:gr_drivin

I have a set of ported twisted wedge track heat heads if ur interested pm me :) also lifters they just need the little bars that go across them some how they grew legs and walked out of my garage :-/ and i have hardend push rods as well

Nice project. With that parts list, you should do anything you can to put some better heads on it. It will run way, way better.

That car was solid as hell , used to be in my garage lol . Good luck with it . I wish i could have done something with it .

This Is a cool project. are you going to leave the car yellow ?
Thanks, yeah I'm planning on leaving it yellow for now. But maybe some day when I have the funds I will paint it white again, it's origional color.

Looks like a nice straight body. The chassis looks decent too. Should be a great car when you are done.
Thanks!

Thanks, and yeah I'm definitely trying. If anything I'll get it running with the stock heads and save up for some.
pretty sweet build! i like that color combo..
Thanks! It's grown on me a bunch.

Well I slapped the k member in last weekend, and brought the intake spindles and calipers down to college with me. Probably going to put the intake in one of the hot tanks and see how it turns out and soda blast and paint the spindles and calipers. I'll take some pictures tomorrow

Thanks guys

So I let the intake sit in the hot tank for a couple hours but it could still use a good scrub. Sand blasted everything, made sure I sealed the calipers good and just blasted the outside of them. But I ran out of class time to paint everything. Not that much progress but It's something
