Its only an LS, but I'm trying to make it somewhat cooler looking. I painted the chrome grill today. I prepped it really good, so we shall see how long it holds up. Id like to get the SS front and rear bumper covers. I think those look much better. I had the side windows tinted, and I de-badged the hatch. I think later on today, I'm gonna finish removing the luggage rack, and then look for a lowering kit.

This is my goal, ride height and wheel wise. I probably wont do the the bumper covers, since I am not trying to make a clone, but I just want it to ride better and look better.

they are pretthy tough motors. there was a guy at the Hot rod drags that was running one in a early 60's nova wagon that I think was putting down 700hp.

I would suggest...
1. leave it alone, you have better cars to dump money into.
2. sell it to a dealer and pick up an SS.

With the SS's mpg, dealers would be more willing to pull the I5 truck in for the SS....

Im stuck with this truck for 2.5 more years, just trying to make it something I like. When the lease is over, I might BUY an SS, but for now im just gonna to some simple things to this truck.

Check out tbssowners.com for tons of info. Even though your truck is just a LS, its still built on the same suspension, frame, ect.

Get the BellTech 2/4 Drop with a set of DJM upper control arms. When the front gets lower then 1.5'' drop, the upper ball joints stretch to a dangerous angle, some people have had them break.

My Envoy will be lowered hopfully by the end of the week. With the same combo.

Im taking a break from the race car stuff. Want something that jut looks cool and I can drive. Its a lease so I doubt a dealer is going to take it in. Odds are when the lease is up, I will go and buy a SS. So my suspension pieces and wheels will just move right over to the new truck.
