On the spray I'd see around 300 rpm slip at the 2-3 shift and down to less than 100 rpm as the rev's climb.

yeah. i was laid off when i broke the rear end at lidio day at ubly in 2009. brought it home and put storage insurance on it the next day. hasnt moved since(had to catch back up on bills from being laid off)
