Firestick question

So....I've had this now for a while. It somewhat does what I'm after, although I've run into a strange situation I'm sure others have experienced.

I only subscribe to cable internet, no tv. I download the apps for the stuff I want to watch.
When I click the app to watch show X, I have to log in to my provider.
What I get now is an error that says "This network is not included in your current television subscription. Please contact your TV provider to subscribe."

So it kind of seems like I'm backed into a corner where I can pay for cable, which then I would not need to firestick.

I've been using my girlfriends login since she has cable TV, but thats not going to last much longer.

What do you guys do here in this situation?

Google "how to put kodi on firestick" it will take you 15-20 minutes the first time, but not bad.

After a few weeks of Kodi adding "channels" from repositories, you'll be an expert at it. Just have laptop or tablet open with directions while working on the firestick, typing.......

Nothing to screw up really. Your just adding an app "kodi" to your firestick, whatever you do is inside the Kodi app, not the firestick. When you have time to grab a beer and have 30 minutes of peace/quiet to work on it. Give it a try. Don't to it with the wife around or kids screamin' at you for taking so long :bowrofl:

Now have Kodi on 4 firesticks/fire tv's since being a newbie 2 months ago:rockwoot:
