Get one made for the car it is the best money you will spend. And a trans brake will help to. My car 1.5 60fts with et streets every where and its a 10.90 car.

It's ok. Lapeer wouldn't let me run because I was on spray and had slicks on. No Scattershield.

It's a C4 with a 3500 stahl. So footbraking to around 2500 and then full out.

is having a loose converter a bad thing with a trans break? I ask this because I have a loose 4500 in my car but i haven't finished my mustang yet. I had it in my camaro but never really ran it hard. Sorry to troll in on this.:buds:

It put my engine way past the optimal torque range. on the dyno my converter didn't fully lock up until 4700 but my engine puts out most torque at 3000-3500 range. It almost seems like the converter would let my rpms go to around 5000 instantly and climb from there. My new converter is supposed to stall at 3500 with my combination. I can't wait to get it and the new trans so I can see what it does.
