Finnaly got the front off the ground

I know it not much but it is a start. First time ever for me. I think I need a trans brake. I cannot seem to get better than a 1.69 60'. Well anyway here are some pics.

They would only let me run 1/8 mile because I didnt have the proper shoulder harness. But on the last pass I ran my brother, he ran a 10.76 at 132mph and I beat him there by about 2 cars so maybe 10.5-10.6. Then they threw me out and would not give me my slip and cut my time off my brothers slip. I need to get this thing around 1.5 60'.

thats bullshit but thats lapeer for ya
 
How fast until you need saftey equiptment? And thats pretty gay they would not even give you your time slip. They could have given it to you and just said no more passes for you.
 
Nice! Milan will hook better than Lapeer. You'll pull them up higher at Milan. Is your sway bar and rear quads off the car?

Depends on the safety equipment......some things are required as soon as you put a tire on the car.

As far as harnesses or a rollbar/cage, then 11.49 in a coupe is the cutoff.
