Finished Basement Pics

Looking for some ideas on how to finish my basement. Looking for bar ideas, theme ideas, different ceiling ideas and so on. Pics would be awesome if you could post them. I have a 1600sq/ft basement with nothing done as far as finishing and would like to see what others have done. Thanks

I'll get some pics later, but mines pretty standard stuff.

I would recommend a bathroom with shower (tub is better still, if you have the space) and try to leave a nice open area for a pool or ping pong table.

My basement has dry-walled ceilings which look great, but if I have any plumbing issues I'm SOL. It has been an annoyance a couple times for things like wiring and shut-off valves. A drop-ceiling is cheaper and if you get a water leak is easier to fix, but doesnt look as "nice".

Regarding drop ceiling they have some cool designs these days. Not the old office style panels that everyone thinks of when thinking of drop ceilings.

Hmmmmm....derbydad, you live in my sub so I'm going to go ahead and assume that the builder of your house is the same builder as my house. Did you basement flood at one time? I know it does happen more then often to houses, but my basement is always dry as a bone with no moisture and I'm planning on building a home theater down there. Always think about what if my basement floods.
