Finished Basement Pics

What really looks nice is when you wrap
rope around a basement pole like this one.

Looks nice & protects you if you bump it too.

Urinal was a nice touch. Red Wings, Penguins same wall????

It wasn't a problem until the past couple years  My woman is from Garden City and I'm from MA but the Pens have always been my favorite team. We've been very happy hockey fans lately.

There is a small room on the other side that has 2 dart boards and an air hockey table but don't have pics of it. Even the ones posted above are of different stages of renovation. I'll have to snap some recent pics today. Each one of those bricks on the poured cement wall was hand painted and then sponged by my mom. Took her like 300 hours to do the whole basement!

WOW, very nice, I likey :1syellow1

You folks could make some money with
that brick trick!

There have been some great basement ideas
in this thread.

Wow- some very nice setups in here. The painted stones are bad-ass. Ozz- I remember seeing your car in MM&FF. What year was that?

I just did this on Friday actually. I opted to spray the can lights also. Just put the plugs in and sprayed the whole can. Even the trim ring. It came out awesome. The only thing is the overspray. Johnquick is exactly right.......do the ceiling first. I have to go back and paint over the overspray now. Good thing it's only primer.

I would highly reccommend spraying the ceiling. It looks badass!!!

x2 it looks alote better on high ceilings, I would love to do this on mine but, but I will settle with the drop tiles. Drywall is tempting but to much work if something happens like a water leak

Does any body do or know someone that does drywall at decent price?
I getting done with framing the outer walls getting started on interior walls very soon. I would post pics but I always have the hardest time post pics up here.
I'm in the Shelby/Washington area. if anybody knows PM me
Thanks to everybody for everything, I got a better direction.

Just get a photobucket and post pics there, then copy the IMG code and post up to MM. Very easy.

Here are my pics. The paint, bar, and carpet were like this when I moved it. All I did was buy bar stools, decorate and retile the stairs black and installed new edges on the steps. It's nice, but I want to repaint and replace carpet this spring/summer.

And that water sitting above in that pic is from my dehumidifier. It has since been fixed. I put the pipe in the floor drain and it's all good now.
