Coming together nicely.

That is some sweet stuff, right there. Looking forward to seeing it run, Sean.

The plan is to calibrate it on the engine dyno so I can just drop it in the car and never touch the tune-up except for very minor changes. I'll definitely post some vids once that goes down in the next couple of weeks or so.
yo homer,

is this going to be a motor car ? or u plan on sprying the bad boy???
No nitrous for this year at least but it's got some compression as you can see so it should make enough steam to have some fun in the meantime.

You still going to run the E-85? Did you ever get a way to measure that gas for consistency? If so, I would be interested in hearing about it...

Both actively and at the pump. GM has an e85 fuel checker which we will use for filling at the pump and getting a baseline and then the GM e85 sensor to monitor the level real time.

so if someone plans on running e85, what can they do to up the octan level ? are they stuck on 105 ? i wanted to run e85 but what can i do when i go to spray the car , i dont feel safe spraying it @105 ..

Run e98 (as close to straight ethanol as you can buy) at the track when you want to spray it.

This e85 checker and sensor, are these things available to the general public or do you need to be an engineer working there to get them? ;) What computer are you going to use that has the capability to monitor this sensor?
