I guess i'll just scrap it since no one likes my paint :dontknow:

I have been looking into the cleveland the last few days. Probably wont be till after the new year.

I have a Cleveland for sale..unassembled. $150 & its yours.
My father has a set of killer Cleveland heads he would let go for $500

That car was sitting for sale in Plymouth for awhile. I never stopped to look at it. The hood scoop was alittle much for me. Good luck with your new project.

The hood comes off with 4 little pins and it will be replaced with a cowl hood, not sure how many completely rust free rollers you guys come across but replacing the hood seemed like a easy thing to me. Thanks for the luck I'll need it since i just got laid off.

I wasn't busting your balls. I just said I didn't stop to look at it because of the hood.

I have always wanted to swap a 3.8 from a supercoupe in one of these things. I think It would make a very stout street car with some mods. Hell if they can get those heavy ass birds to run hard, you should have your work cut out for you in that flyweight.

No busted balls. Forgot the smiley.:icon_mrgr Everyone hates the hood including me but for 300 bux what are you gonna do? :dontknow: I've got a reciept for 1400 bux for the rearend, theres brand new tires on the draglites, a very well done 10pt cage, subframes, upper and lower control arms, no rust, nice paint(even if i dont like the graphics). Looks like i'm getting that windsor now and backing it will a built aod that came with the car. Anybody know who makes purple torque convertors.

I like them cars but seems like everybody blows headgaskets on them things. Being a brokeass father of three i cant afford too much breakage. Hope to run 11's for less than 2500 bux including the car.

In that case just keep it simple and run the old standby 302 t5 combo. now is the time to score deals as everyone is stepping up and parts are plentiful and cheap. Good luck with the project. I will be doing mine that way after the baby gets here next month.

Thanks for the encouragement. I just picked up a 351 that went 12.00s in my buddys fairmont for 500 bux. It was just freshened and has ported 69 windsor heads on it so there is room for improvement with a set of aluminum heads and some spray. So far total investment is under a grand. Need to get the built aod freshened and find out what kind of torque convertor came with it(purple)? Still need a carb and exhaust and a msd6al.
