Made an offer and got countered but it wasn't in the ballpark of what I wanted to pay so I'm looking at another 9 houses tomorrow.

I made an offer on a house in Oxford but it was new on the market and I came in 8% under list and they countered with about 0.5% under list and I didn't bother responding. It was a nice house just a few bucks more than I wanted to spend and it was about as far as I wanted to drive so I moved on.
