filling holes beginin to primer...

remember if you have any pinholes in the primer you can use a lil filler and fill them with a razor then just sand em with 320/400 with the rest of the primer. I personally like to use 400 wetsand except for silver metallic where you need to use 600. Guidecoat multiple times!

later bro

so i should use 400 on the primer and 600 wet on the silver?

What color will you be painting the engine bay? it looks good looks liek it turned out nice definitly a major improviment form before

The whole car will be stripped down and i'll be spraying it a silver metalic with a blueish tint..

Yea make sure that you wetsand it with at least 600 before you shoot the silver, Silver is a really bad color if the primer isint scuffed out smooth enough

ok.. I'll make sure to take my time on that then.

I have not heard from him since he took the buyout and ran 11/1
I havn't posted any pics yet of the new one.

yeah the metallic flakes really show up in any 320 or worse scratches (they kinda lay on their side), sometimes 400 doesnt even cut it... sand it with 240/320 then pisscoat primer it for best results and wetsand 600.

I am sure that more than the enigne compartment needs to be painted...
You better get moving with all this spare time you have... at least get the compartment done and do the car later..

Paint is the least of my worries. That's what happens when you have to do everything yourself-takes twice as long.

Yep, got almost everything I need now. Just gotta get it together. Ran into a few snags-go figure.
