It looks great but I wonder if you could explain the thin layer of fiberglass? Is that normal procedure? Will it crack?

I think the fiberglass is actually a lil more giving than the filler.. i think anyways, and I would of had some spots that would have been in the 1\4 inch thick or thick area if i didnt fill it with the fiberglass first..

That would be my buddy Bill, him an a few of my friends that stop by on a normaly basis like to write all over my car..
 
that looks awsome but why didnt you weld the holes. Iam intrested in seeing how that fiberglass will hold with that 306 your building :laugh:

I did weld the holes.. all one hundred and thirty nine of them, I counted haha.

I only used teh fiberglass to build up the areas that where really unever or level.. prior to putting the filler on..

remember if you have any pinholes in the primer you can use a lil filler and fill them with a razor then just sand em with 320/400 with the rest of the primer. I personally like to use 400 wetsand except for silver metallic where you need to use 600. Guidecoat multiple times!
