With stats of 0-60 mph in under 9 seconds and top speed of 120 mph were the Trans Am 455 and BMW 530i 4 speeds, the fastest full 4 seater cars in 1975? I can't think of any others.

Look up the specs on a '75 Corvette. :)

Edit - got it!

1974 models had the last true dual exhaust system that was dropped on the 1975 models with the introduction of catalytic converters requiring the use of no-lead fuel. Engine power decreased with the base ZQ3 engine producing 165 bhp (123 kW), the optional L82's output 205 bhp (153 kW), while the 454 big-block engine was discontinued. Gradual power increases after 1975 peaked with the 1980 model's optional L82 producing 230 bhp (172 kW).[14]

^Regardless, Vette is a two-seater.
The 911 Turbo would be the fastest, mid-5seconds to 60mph, 2+2 seating though, that should count.

True, though he was talking about an Avanti with a Corvette power train. The 930 was likely one of the fastest cars you could buy at the time, however, I wouldn't want to sit in one of those rear "seats," lol.

I dare an adult to sit in back seats of a 930...

The Jaguar XJS had a top speed of 143MPH. The Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 had a 150MPH top speed.

911 has slightly higher top speed, 153 I believe, but if you're talking a COMFY 4- seater, my money would be on the Benz.
