:lol: at this thread, as a life long Detroiter who's spent many a summer day on the beach at Belle Isle and saw first hand 10's of not 15 or 20 black people swim over the years its really sorta funny.

lol, i swam competitively in Michigan and Canada when I was younger. Black kids were rare in the pool but they were there.

Just about as rare as white kids playing basketball competitively in Flint.
