Farm to Fridge (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

I watched Food, Inc. so I had an idea what the video would show.

It is pretty disturbing how people can take a bat to an animals head with no regard they are a living thing. Hell, I can barely kill a house spider without feeling kinda bad. Some of the video with people just killing animals like a psycho is really sickening. They have to get some sort of joy out of that, which is downright disturbing.

I do disagree that a fish is on the same plane as my dog, in regards to intelligence and emotion. That seemed to go a little overboard.

Obviosuly we need to eat, but I would gladly pay more for my meat if the industry as a whole had to treat the animals with respect and humanely.

Partially true I guess, but how much cognitive thought and emotion does a damn fish have?

Hell even that video had a 15 sec section on fish and every other animal got 5 minutes. They are like the Rodney Dangerfield of food.

I could care less about the fish and chickens, but what they were doing to the pigs and cows is just unwatchable.

How would you like to live next door to the guy who punches the calf in the head multiple times or any of the other people in this video for that matter...

LMAO. "I tell ya, I don't get no respect. No respect at all!"

I think generally people attach their emotions to larger animals... No one cares about a dead mouse but when a whale gets killed it ends up getting a TV show.
