Did you hard wire your fuel pump to a switch yet? I THINK what you need in the end is a chip or a tune! neither one is cheap.

factory rev limiter is set for around 7000rpm IIRC. I could look in a a9l file, but most are set silly high. whats the issue that you need it to be set so high ?

i hit it this year under boost , and torched the head

you might have other troubles. spark scatter being the biggest.rev limiter is a hard fuel cut. no combustion.

yeah I have. 7000 for the fuel cut in most of the a9l stick cars. I know its silly high. could be a software issue to, but I have seen it in everyones software. You have to understand though that whatever GM or chrysler can do in 1 constant or table. It takes ford 4 tables. So there could be more hiding in there. honestly alot of the tfi modules get snotty around 6300 rpm or so.
