That sounds like turbo, only time you'll see black smoke(massive over fueling) is when your calling for boost and have none.

I would put the stock tune back on the truck, remove the banks six gun.

the truck is fucked!!! she is hydro locked!! came home today and went to move the truck and she turned for one sec and then dead stop. i didnt try turning it over anymore..
 
Drain oil and start fixing, if there is one guy thing i hate it is v8 diesels, cant go wrong with a straight 6
 
Call mike hallas. Hallas performance in Romeo mi. He is a 6.0 ford god. He did all my work on my truck. Studs,Egr delete, new turbo, and injectors. He's reasonable and knows the 6.0's

whats his turnaround time. i had the truck fixed some where and regret it but they had it for over a week and didnt even look at the oil cooler for me, oil still at about 220 to 225 and thats about 32 degrees over coolent temp. you have any idea on cost of oil cooler?? also anyone out there know where i can go to have the egr wiped out of the ecm
 
I have a SCT Tuner that you can buy that will flash our the EGR. $300 and it comes preloaded with tunes from Innovative diesel

Order the oil cooler parts guy Ed. I paid 225 for mine, I think there up around 250 now. He is the cheapest OEM parts supplier you will find.
