I'm the second owner of this truck, and it was going to be a project of mine. I just recently started going to school, and I honestly don't have the time/money to finish my dream. I would like to hold onto it, but my dad is making me sell it. It's been garage kept for the past 5 years so there's no new rust.

Again, this is an unfinished project... so please take that into consideration (pics).

I swapped the rear end from the 7.5" to the 8.8" (31 spline LS) from a Mazda B4000, which was a direct bolt up.

I also started changing the interior from gray, to black. Everything is done for the most part, except the headliner/carpets/ seats. Just has to be put back together with a decent set of black seats.

I sold the original engine/trans, and purchased a 79' 302 engine for it as well. I paid $200 for the engine. It's complete, but it obviously needs a good rebuild to "wake up" unless you just want a basic refubish.

I would like to get around $1000 for the entire package, but I'll definitely take best offer.

Wow, if I did not have to put my spare money into fixing this cleveland motor I would get this for my wife. This should sell fast for you.
 
That seems like a sweet deal. I have a buddy thats been wanting to build another 302 Ranger, I'll see if he is interested
 
Thanks guys, I'm still pretty upset that I have to sell it! But, I'll get another one after I finish school. I just always liked the yellow lol

Maybe if you'd guys like, I'd post my concept of what I invisioned it would look like when finished just for giggles.

well i was planning on building one once i sold my car. so if still available i will give u a shout since most the works already done...

also was it originally 2wd or 4wd?

yea, me either dude. It does suck!!! You know my hearts always been with the danger, but its for the best man, You know better than anyone, I just cant do it right now. theyre a dime a dozen. hopefully 302s are still around by the time Im ready lol

I would honestly like to sell eveything as a package. If no one jumps on it, then I might consider it.

Yes I do. The only thing I don't have is a hood. Everything I've read (when I was in the process of tinkering) said that the engine would sit too high, and I would have to get an aftermarket one. I was going to go with a 4" cowl, but I never bought it.
