I have a 1968 302 mexican block for sale that still has a 4.00 bore needs to be hot tanked and machined...but other than that it is great shape. also have stock crank pistons and rods with. First $150 takes it. PM me or email me. [email protected]

Thanks, Nick

Mexican block has "Hecho en Mexico" cast into the lifter valley and if I remember correctly they have screw in freeze plugs. I had one a while back.

Plus Nick and I looked up the "code" that is cast into the side of the block.
It was originally out of a 1968 Galaxie.

550hp more than a stock block? is that what your asking? dont qoute me on this (its been a while) I think its comparable to a "R" block but obviously it has 2 bolt main. Where the Big time Ford guys at? Id still get a main girdle and tap the top for 1/2" head studs. Im pretty sure it used the 28oz balancer. Im guessing your doing a blower/turbo? Me personally I dont like to O-ring, I look at it like this......its a pressure relief if you push the head gasket.

I'd say maybe 100hp more than a stock one. No where near a R302 block. They are basically a stock block with a higher nickel content & 2 bolt mains.
