I try to stay under the radar as much as possible, the quotes the OP brought up did upset me, though. They were posted just under a week ago. I would never go to a meet...they're all in their own little clique anyway.
 
I have been on xceed for a few months now....
From what I have seen there is a tonnnn of stuff just like the V10Venom has said, lots of immaturity and just stupid bullshit.
I just tolerate the site because of the fact that I posted my entire build thread on there.
Most people get majorly flamed for pretty much any post, but personally.... I have never been flamed there and I got lots of positive comments even though I did not rice the shit out of my car! lol
I don't regret being a member of that site really, I just try to lurk and look at a few random threads that interest me. I met a lot of cool people at the xceed meets in brighton and heartland, (ex. detroitstyledragger)

also met some major douchebags too though.........
 
it's only the internet.....

not real life....

if i've got a problem with a post/thread, it's pretty easy to click off of it..

Wont happen, they are far to cheap. There was a thread about it not to long ago. One kid said he would drive if he was getting paid to do so. No one there would put 50cents into a pot to build a car. Let alone have the mental capacity to decide on a car.
 
If there stuff is so Fast and Uber....... Let them Build a Car to run against Thunderstang.............
 
Don't they have an average of 5 cars stolen every month? What is that saying about how you're only as good as the company you keep?

I was once a xceeder too! I had three hondas, some slow, some quick......

I would post over there because i loved to find meets and didnt know about anything around my area. Once i started posting alot, and noticing how they really were i ventured over to this site. I actualy joined this site while i was driving a 97 civic. I was a car guy, not a ricer. People on motown respected that and thats what i loved about this site. Soon after the civic, i buckled down and bought my mustang and couldnt be happyer. But its just the fact of how well motown treated me, even when i had a civic, that keeps me posting here day in and day out!


I love this site..... and dont miss xceed one bit.

i'm here and on xceed, frequent both, motown if for the sure the "older" crowd, but in no way do i mean more mature. :893nana:



but there are a bunch of idiots on xceed, but that's natural of any car forum, or really forum in general.
