As far as income goes, they do not pay you a salary, they pay you a commision, the better you do, the higher the commision. Waiting 2 years for pay is unheard of, we get our first check as soon as we are licensed. It is against Michigan law to accept commision on a policy if you are not licensed. From there, as you sell you get paid. You ONLY sell if it HELPS!!! Not to mention that is why most people start out part time, at least until they are licensed. As far as dishing out all that money, Life Insurace is you pay 200, they pay about 1300, gives you incentive to be serious if you pay some money. Securities is about 400 on you, they pay the rest. You can make that on 1 policy. Then your first mortgage is 600, they pay the rest. Thats only 1200, in about (4 months for securities, 8-12 months for 1st mortgage) 12 - 16 months with additional income.

With this company being your own business owner means you take vacations when you want, because of how you get paid based on your training abilities, you still get paid on those days off. This IS NOT a 9-5 Job. They do not offer insuarce, but if you are part time your other job should. The idea is once you get started you find what health insurance you want and buy that. The trips are INCENTIVE!!!! If you do what you are suppossed to, you qualify anyway, so why not?

Not to mention this is NOT SALES, it is EDUCATION on money, if they need it you help, if not you have given them priceless information and a pat on the back for doing what it is that they should with their money to secure their future. These are not strangers, these are people you do Christmas and Thanksgiving with, FAMILY. Why would you give them something that is going to screw them?

Like I said, if you feel that this is where you need to be and you're happy and feel like you're making the world a better place because of it, then do it! I'll be happy to send people to you for help. They either changed some of their stuff, or I just went through a bum office. I did my meeting in Livonia on 6 miles right by the indoor golf thing right off of 275. The markets are a fun place to be, so enjoy yourself and if you need anything, let me know.

nah. it's not a fight or argument. Steve's a good friend, and I'd expect him to do the same thing if I was trying to get a job working for Maaco as a painter. Steve will always have my support and I owe a lot to him. He has my respect and I know he'll do great there.
 
If that is the case then why do you keep bashing, I am asking people about a change, if they do not like it then so be it. At least let them decide for themselves, not hate it off the bat. Isn't Ripoffreport.com kind of like the Enquirer. The breakdown sounds way off!!! Primerica EMPLOYS people everyday, they have several offices and each person makes a different amount of money. MOTIVATION is the key. I do not even understand how that can be an accuarte breakdown. They pay their EMPLOYEES 26 times a month on commisions. This goes to you and those that have trained you also.

As far as health insurance WE DON"T DO IT!!! However, if I only have my life license and someone wants a roll over (Securities) I can not do that. My RVP will, not to mention the goal is not an in and out meeting. It is at someones home and with several meetings, like I said these are family and friends. One meeting may be an FNA, the next life insurance, then they may need a roll over (at this time you would take someone who can do it and you trust, also a learning experience for you when you are licensed).
 
ryan i do appreciate your input on this subject but i do feel i am behind a GREAT company and so far they have backed me 110%. If you send anyone this way i would greatly appreciate it for i promise to take very good care of them and WILL NOT give them anything that they DO NOT NEED or WANT. ryan you have this opinion on this company and i was wondering if i could be given an opportunity to change it.

Steve, I simply said that I didn't like the company from my personal epxeriences. You asked me to give you reasons. That's why I'm "bashing" it. If you wouldn't have asked, I would have left it at my original statement that I just didn't like my experience there. I'll stay out of this now. Good Luck Steve and let me know if you need anything. If what you've said is true, then things have either changed, or like I said, I got a bum office for my orientation. I would still go with Edward Jones because I want my own secretary and office! I'll hire Jessica Simpson as my secretary and screw her every night! LOL
 
personanlly speaking, if you are using the forums to advertise your business, i'm glad there are counterpoints being provided in the same space.

This reminds me of the kid who was in here a few years ago who was going to set the world on fire with quikstar. Sorry, but the odds are against your success on this one. You're the consumer, and you've been sold on the product.

i actually like that the odds are against me. it makes it all that more interesting to watch to see when i do succeed. it is a company that was founded 30 years ago and started with only 7 people and now there is thousands. i guess what i am trying to get at that if it helped me and some friends and family of mine then why wouldnt it work for anyone else??? i do use most of the products that i offer to people. i do have a life insurance policy with the company and i do have mutual funds an ira with which was set up with the company. i just applied for a SMART loan(which i do own a house but people dont need any kind of equity to get approved for to consolidate bills) to see if i could consolidate some of my debt to get it paid off faster at a lower payment. i am saving for retirement because social security is going to be a thing of the past here shortly. i am also looking at my own mortgage to see if i can do anything with that as well. so if you guys were wondering if i use the products i am offering i do. i firmly believe in the products i am using and i am gonna stick with it. everyone that i have talked to so far has either been able to use something that i offered and or wanted to join up which was the whole point of this post to see if anyone is interested in spending a couple of hours one night with me and a few other people to see if they would be interested but it turned into this big debate which pushes me to do better. i actually thrive off of the negativity and welcome it. i am not saying i am gonna set the world afire but i am going to help as many people understand how money works and understand that the middle class is going to be gone here shortly and it is going to either be lower class or upper class and if you ask me i would rather be upper class. i do not want to swing the guns no more as a way of life yet as a hobby. it is killing me slowly. it was my choice to get into it and now it is going to be solely my choice to get out of it.
 
I honestly wish you luck, and sincerely hope you succeed, but I would bet a lot of money against you.

so back to the topic of the post if anyone is willing to spend anytime learning how they could get out of debt faster and is willing to put aside all of the negativity of what was said in here hit me up in a pm. if not you then there is other people out there that i can help.
 
how is this sound for something. i will repost on this subject at the begining of the year and let you guys know how i am doing. if i am not doing well then i will apologize to the whole board but if i am doing well and i will be honest on it then i just have the last laugh. i dont want any type of congrats or nothing cuz i will have done this on my own. like i said i am into this 100% and believe that it will change my life dramaticly. i am enthusiastic and excited and i will tell as many people i can about this company. if i am doing well and anyone is interested then they can talk to me about it. if anyone is interested now they can talk to me about it.
 
I think someone on this board was into this a couple years ago then bailed...

An ex-girlfriend of mine had some of their "reps" talk to her a few years back also...

I also have known a couple engineers that left there jobs for this for the non 9-5 hrs. They came crawling back for entry level a year later...

Moral: Good luck, from what I've seen they don't make shit and they pump you up with all this potential crap like Amway does.
