Exhaust ..???

POHO's finest Redneck!
i have full length headers (hooker) and Flowmaster Delta force mufflers 3" pipes and tail pipes ending behind the back tire ...it has i crackling sound to it when i get into it!! would this be caused from the tail pipes ? if i take them off and dump it at the rear end would it sound better ? i am looking for a deeper tone .....Thanks in advance
 
I think the car sounds damn good how it is, if you dump them, you are going to notice much more interior noise.

If you really want full exhaust, I have a "real" motor you can throw in there and that would take care of the crackling...LoL..J/K

thats why i put the tails on it (interior noise) but i dont like the crackling sound
NO Chevys for me ....i wouldn't waste the wife money on something so stupid....j/k lol

i forget what flowmaster i ran but it sounded good. the car i just got runinng the other night has the same ones and it sounds good. an h-pipe helps a ton and it does make more hp too. the new exhaust i have has bullets on it but im sure im gonna take em off, way to loud..
 
I think i have the same mufflers, but thought mine sounded raspier from going to 3'' and running an x pipe over the H. I wouldn't worry about it, everyone tells me it sounds tough outside the car.
 
i am going to put a H pipe on it and see what happens, if that dont work i will try some bullets w/the H pipe
