Exhaust Work needed

I need a pair of mufflers welded up on my dd Mazda 6. I have the mufflers, I just need them welded up. Can anybody recommend a place to go besides Mufflers & More in Walled Lake? They quoted me $450 this morning, which I think is rather absurd.
 
Doesn't the Mazda 6 have mufflers that unbolt at a flange behind the rear suspension?....Maybe itw oudl be cheeper to just have a muffler deleate pipe made up and bolted on.....I used to have a Mazda 6 and would sometimes just take off the mufflers completley just to screw around. It wasn't too loud. Maybe even use the stock tips to save more money.

Callahan can eat shit. They built a crap dual exhaust for my 53, would not correct the issue and held my truck on the hoist until I paid up.. it was a simple pair of pipes off the shorty headers and straight sections back to the mufflers and two dump pipes ahead of the axle. Lemme find a pic of the pipes..

They charged me $275 for this hunk of shit and I gave them the mufflers. This was back in 1999 or so, the guy that I worked with was a slightly heavyset dude with a grey beard. He had a BBC S10 in the lot.

Here it is.. they fucked up bend #1 and kept trying to "fix" it. Both of these pipes could have been virtually identical.

sure that was callahans? The black bb s10 was from down the street. Or maybe he moved down the street. I worked with his son Eric
 
Muffler shop on Perry North of MLK, across from one of the Pontiac high schools. The link JSpec posted is the same shop that did my fabulous work.
 
I actually asked over on the Michigan Mazda Owner's Club site, and there's a guy in Mt. Clemens who offered to weld them up for free. Kind of a hike, but the price is right.
 
If you go to dougs, consider diamond as well. Both are good options. Diamond though is the better option.
