Exhaust tip alignment

I cant get these damn things even.

Opinions.... drivers side tip higher?, etc.

Put a shim in on how far u want it to be down on both, loosen, snug it, remove shim..

I had it on a hoist. I am going to try it again tomorrow.

Grab a pry bar, stick it in the pipe and bend it where you need it.

Yeah, i know. I am just impatient and my buddy had a customer, so i had to give up the hoist.


Now that i have them on.... i dont like em.

They do look good, Just move the left one up a bit and over the right and it would be perfect. I don't know what you had on before, When I used to do it at the exhaust shop I worked at we had to heat up the pipe itself and move that because thats what was throwing them off.

Before: You couldnt hardly notice them, black tips, smaller diameter and they had an angle cut.

I heated them up and tried to re align them. Takes getting use to ... i guess.

Had the same problem with mine. I ended up getting a universal exhaust hanger from AutoZone (it's just a strip of reinforced rubber with holes) and cut it to the right length for both sides. Still not perfect, but good enough.
