Exhaust system help

I recently added widened rear wheels with wider tires to my 2003 Mercury Marauder. My problem is that when the exhaust system was built for the vehicle no allowance was made for a wider rear wheel/tire combo and I had severe rubbing on the drivers side only. I managed to gain some clearance with a BFH as a temporary measure. With the exception of the rubbing issue, the exhaust is a high quality install, all stainless, mandrel bent with all connections flanged. Where can I find a shop that does high quality exhaust work to build and install a new mandrel bent pipe that matches up with the rest of the system? Thanks!
 
Do you want a 1 pice non fabricated pipe ? if so I can get them done but they ain't cheap.If you don't mind tig welded stainless Fixing the offending tailpipe is pretty easy.
 
The over axle is two pieces, flanged at the connection, that goes from the muffler and enters the Megs tips. I'm sure a new piece, that enters the tip would have to be fabricated. The custom exhaust was fabricated at Grand Mufflers in Marietta GA. I want something that will match the high quality work that they did. If you can do mandrel bending let me know. C.A.R.S isn't too far away and I could stop by for you to take a look.

I can get it done but it usually takes a few days. Quality is not a problem. So long as you don't mind the price that comes with it.I can also do mandrel bent but it has to be done with prebent bends.depending on the situation it might take 2-3 bends and seems to get your needed clearances so you will have 2-3 maybe 4-5 tig welded seams. If you want factory look like you would get from a magnaflow kit then the one piece mandrel bent pipe is the best solution.

give me a call monday or stop in one day this week and I can qoute the modifications for ya.

How bad Is It rubbing ? How much room do you need ? Have you thought about heating up the pipe and pinching enough to gain the room you need (providing Its not alot of room you need) ?

Thanks for the suggestion. As I posted, I gained clearance with a BFH and some heat. Had to massage the pipe in 1/2 an inch to gain minimal clearance.

no message on machine. Glad ya got it fixed.Time for a new machine. your not the first person to say this recently in the last 2 weeks.
