Exhaust noise question!

I have a 2001 gt stang with a bbk x-pipe with borlia side exhaust. It is creating a real annoying "raspy" type sound. I was told x-pipe's make that noise and h-pipes don't. Anything i can do? Would adding resonator's help?

the BBK x-pipe is annoying. swap it for a Dr-gas and it'll sound better.
