I did see that after I posted it. I thought what he posted was in the original fundraiser thread and got deleted.
Telling people donate or leave was out of line, but I think that was more frustration than anything. This club has turned into a message board, and it sucks.
 
I'd still like to danate a little $$ if anyone has a paypal address. But I do think the post was out of line.

I have to say I was disappointed to hear that not many people showed up from here. Although since I was stuck at work my shift plus OT and no sick time to take (due to my own health issues) I certainly can't be pissed off too much.
 
As soon as I get another paycheck or two, I'll be donating. Being a new homeowner, having things like the furnace go out, car repairs, buying a lawn mower (since I don't have one), and paying bills take my money lately and thats why I work 50+ hours a week. I'm not some scrooge who ignores it---my shop is sponsoring a Relay for Life for cancer research funding. Our dealership alone has raised quite a bit of money for it.

Yes Eric, this IS a message board - but it's a message board FOR a club. I've helped numerous members on here and they have helped me. I don't make it too meetings myself because I am way the fuck out in Lansing, and Thursday night romps to the metro area are rough when I am up for work at 5:45 the next morning getting ready for work.

I do think what was said WAS out of line, not everyone can participate at a moments notice. So just because not everyone can show up to ONE event means everyone is a self indulgent prick... Some of us just have to do what we can from where we are with a hope and a prayer.

To you he's a gentleman but to people who don't know him....., be that as it may, I think the proper way of posting would have been "Hey guys, not too many MMers showed up Saturday and Mike and his family sure can use your help...." NOT "If you dont send something then please do this site a favor and LEAVE, dont look back, because you didnt belong to begin with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I only know greg from this board, but I've never found him to be anything other than a complete tool.

That said, I have met Tuna a couple times and he's a great guy whom I will be happy to help and support in his time of need.
 
It's all an act! Greg only cares cause Mike works for Jason at Fabjet and Greg swings from Jason's nuts! LOL. BTW congrats Mr. and Ms. Hissong! BAHHHHHHHH
