an example of non-newtonian fluid is adding corn starch to water. don't know exactly what that liquid is but it looks like a lot of fun.

hell it could be water with an additive of some kind that would increase the surface tension enough to support both their weights and the impact of them running. Sounds like one for the MYthbusters.

they did that on brainiac on tech tv (british mythbusters) but they filled a REAL pool. corn starch and water and the dude could run across no prob. but when he stopped it took like 4 or 5 people to yank him out lol. very cool but i doubt the local public pool would let me try it.
