Dynamic C4 M2 Troubles

Hi Guys,

Got a leaking trans...........baddly. It's a Dynamic Mighty Mite M2. Probably 75-90 passes on it with the best ET of [email protected] in a 3200 lb car. After cleaning it up real good it seems to be leaking at the front, directly behind the converter and at the trans brake solenoid. On the last pass it shifted fine but as I rolled up to our trailer it was leaving a trail of fluid. Sitting in the trailer it leaked a pool and the same on the garage floor. The trans hasn't been out of the car for 3 yrs. I know it needs to come out but before I do that, is there anything that I could do/inspect if I pulled the pan off?? Any other tips or advice as to what is wrong?

Thanks!!

Kinda figured the seal too. I know the box needs to be gone through so I guess we got lucky that we hanven't had problems until now.

Thanks!!

If the seal was fine before and it just started leaking after only a few seasons, I bet you'll find something else. Probably a bushing that has walked, etc. Definitely time for a refresh it anyways. Get it apart and inspect the converter hub, the seal and the bushing. Do you have any debris in the pan besides clutch dust - lol! Good luck.
