Dump truck pushed out of Packard plant 4th floor

We were saying that with 4 months to play with we probalby could have made the elevator work in some capacity to get the thing down and gotten it running again :)

I was kinda hoping it would explode upon impact with the ground just like the box truck in True Lies that wen over the edge of the bridge.

whats amazing is that that truck has been there for decades and still had air in the tires... not to mention how well it stood up to that fall... its very sad that nothing built today could ever compare to the quality of the things built years ago

I would had spent a little time trying to make it run, jack the wheels up,block the gas pedal and release the jack, let it drive itself out the hole, lol

Sorry to bring up an old thread, just found this.

Having been there and seen the truck pre-fall, it had no drivetrain and was missing a lot of shit. Making it run would have involved way more effort than this.

That being said, the VW they tossed out was much closer to being a useable vehicle.

There's actually a few ramps in the plant, and after it had closed it was used as a storage facility, and later a few floors were used for paintball games and there's trucks like this around that area for hiding behind. I'm not sure how or when this particular truck ended up in the plant, but it doesn't much matter. There's also a newer Cobalt SS that's part dismantled and partially torched on the first floor in a collapsing shed in between two of the "prongs" of the building, per-se. Has a 5-speed manual in it still, if anyone wants it.
