duct cleaning?

I thought about having this done too but thought it might not be worth the $$$$.

One more thing that might help you out is a good vacuum cleaner (I know it sounds a little gay). But I bought my gf a Dyson Animal for her b-day and I feel alot better since. I actually bought it as a joke and she loved it, so it was kind of win win since she uses it at my place.

buddy had his vents cleaned on a 10 year old hose they pulled 13lbs of stuff out of them. Im afraid to see what comes out of mine after 52 years

Its totally worth it. Especially if you have allergies. We've had it done in my current house right after I had it built, because the builders ran the heat while drywalling and filled them with drywall dust.

You can usually find coupons in the Free Press. All companies are pretty much the same, just keep an eye on them to make sure they actually clean the duct and not just make a bunch of noise.

Make sure you get a reputable company to do it. There are a lot of scams out there, where they hook a shop vac in the van up to one of your ducts and charge you $150.

I got that Duct Pro/Safety King company to do it. They had the greatest quantity of certified staff. Not the cheapeast, but I feel like it will get done.

$369 for a 1,200 sq ft house w/ basement/AC.

That is high but they are the only ones around that do a great job. They also have video.

Well.... they might be high, but if they get the job done right... it is worth it.

I have been eating 2-3 claritin a day and sometimes have trouble.
