DSM Owners, longshot, i know
Pulling my trans, car is 5 speed AWD 1G talon.
Get under the car to pull the transfer case, it pulls the output shaft from the trans instead of sliding off it.
Cant get the xfer case off because the oil pan is in the way now due to the long ass output shaft.
I have like 4 inches of shaft
icon_surp ) that I can get too between the trans and xfer case. Any ideas on something to hold the shaft enough for me to tap it out of the transfer case? Otherwise I have to pull the crossmember off, and pull the trans with the driveshaft and transfer case still connected, and thats a pain in the ass.
