Drove a Porsche Panamera

A couple days ago I went with my buddy to pick up his 911 that was being serviced from the Porsche dealer down here. We somehow convinced a salesman to let us drive the Panamera they had outside front and center. Pretty cool car although the 94k sticker had me thinking about many other vehicles. They didnt have the turbo model on the lot yet, but this one was pretty stout for being 4300lbs. The interior was beautiful and the Burmester sound system was awesome. I think it was like a $7k option or some crazy shit for the audio upgrade. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about.....

Yeah, I don't know what they were going for here. A 4 door sports car yes, but a Porsche, no way...I envision a huge flop here...The company I worked for did a lot of testing on it, the vehicle we had was "gold", looked like baby poop...

yeah, this will be an epic fail like the lincoln blackwood, or the aviator.. lol actually maybe more epic because the unibody isnt based off of anything else really like those two were.

I would much rather have a Cayenne than that thing.

The new Aston sedan is going to blow this thing out of the water.

THe Aviator is still being made. It just has a bunch of letters now.

Huh? :headscratThe lincoln aviator is still being made? The explorer based thing?

The MKX was supposed to be named Aviator until Lincoln went to alphanumeric naming. I might be wrong, but I thought I saw the MKX remake with an Aviator nameplate on it (2006 model?). Call it a pinto if you want, but it was the direct replacement for the Aviator and the concept vehicle in 2004 was called Aviator.

The current Lincoln names are stupid and do nothing for brand recognition. I kept wondering when they would change the names on the Town Car and Navigator. And they wonder why they can't sell cars...

yes, and each letter has a meaning...X=crossover, S=sedan, T=Truck?, Z=Zephyr and the Mark LT truck is for light truck

I saw one of these last week on Woodward when I was heading home. They look OK but not a huge fan. I am sure someone will buy them. Their add I saw said something about letting 4 people enjoy the sportscar feel. Too bad it doesn't look so great. Ha ha. I will always love 911 styling. It has always appealed to me. But this 4-door version does not.
