Dragstrip Rumors Info?

Knowing that guy he will announce something like this "today we announce the location of the NHRA dragstrip, well, its not going to be anywhere near here because everyone whines too much about the noise, so i will just build it in some other area that isn't full of crybabies"
 
We need a track in Detroit! It's a testament to the total decay of the City and the lack of vision of the current and past administrations that the so called 'Motor City' does not have the Biggest and best automotive racing facility in the country if not the World... unless you want to count French rd.:D

I agree totally. I have always thought michigan should have a facility the other states drooool over.

And if they set it up like the horse tracks (legal betting) it would be a big time hit. ;)
 
that would be AWESOME!! They could put it out in the boonies too, theres alot more to genesee county than just flint.......otisville has lots of farm land for sale, now i'm just dreaming.

I hope none of you guys try to venture out to hardcore lately or plan to in the near future.......it's gone now. I think there's still the one in fenton though.

If you drive 90 mph on the 2 lane.

Lansing to Stanton is 1.5 hr if there are no traffic delays or slowpokes and Lansing to Martin is about 1.75 hr.
 
This would rule if it happens. With Ubly closing, you would think there would be a big enough pool of racers to go there.
