I rolled down to Martin today to meet up with Parish, 1320video and some other guys I know from Nebraska and to check out the action. Got to see Wheel 2 Wheel's Nova. That thing is pretty bad ass. Heard something about it having some issues but don't really know anything. The white elky that terrorizes Woodward was headed back this way on a trailer. Someone said it had some broken bottom end parts. Saw lots of other crazy stuff. Pics to come shortly, they are uploading. This turbo 2.3 Mustang yanking the front end out of the hole, holy shit, car is sic as fuck. Ran mid 9's I think. Fun day, worth the vacation day. I need to make something run a 12.0 before drag week 07 so I can compete in the daily driver 12.0 index class.
 
Or some tires, a 150 shot and a tune. I already have a TNT kit sitting in the garage that never made it on the T-bird. And the truck runs 13.5 - 13.6 with a 2.0-2.3 60' time.

Warantee expires in April...or at 36,000 miles...and it isn't even to 20,000 yet, and has only been driven 1800 miles since March. So the warantee expires in April, lol.
 
Mike Brown (yellow T/A CE that runs DR on Friday at Milan) broke a trans and fell out I think.

I believe Kurt is leading in the 9-second class, and I think Gary Drobot (pewter C5 Corvette) is leading in the 11-second class.
 
I don't think there is a 9 second index class. The nova would be in either small motor or big motor power adder depending on displacement. Unless it's back halved, I think that puts it in prostreet or something. Or he could have put it in unlimited just to not have competition because I think all or nearly all the unlimited cars broke, dropped out, or didn't make it. I know Carl Scott, last year's over all winner, wrecked his car a couple weeks ago and didn't make it.

I did see a Vette that was definitely consistent as hell in the 11.0 class, every time down was an 11.0 or a 10.9. There was another pewter Vette that I beleive was from this area running 9's, maybe it was from Chicago? Had a fixed headlight conversion. I don't think I got any pics of it but I'm sure Kyle does.

change your oil and save it now, and plugs... hook the kit up... get tires... if it breaks get it home flush the n20 oil out and put the old oil in and old plugs and take it to the dealer and be like i jumped on it on the street and it fucking broke!!...... i read that that will work... ive never had a car with a warrenty though...
 
don't have any money to tune it with anyway right now. I screwed up though, should have taken my bottle to drag week, could have had an N/A guy fill it for me free.
