Drag Slick Temp

I thought you only wanted them around 110-120 degrees, but I never checked mine with a heat gun. All you need is a short burnout for best results...

The length of the burnout depends on a lot......

Ourdoor temp
Track temp
Tire temp
Tire pressure
Type of tire
Size of tire

There is no single rule to use that covers every situation.

Depends on the compound, tire size, how hard the car leaves so many things...

If there new tires a dry hard burn out should be done(per say in front of your house) then park the car for 24 hrs.. This excits the compounds in the tire and will wick them to the surface and make for a harder hooking tire.

When I have checked my tire temp its been anywhere from 90-150f.. I normaly just have my bro take a picture of the burn out marks left coming out of the box every run and make changes based on that for the next one with track temp swings.

I realize all of this...I was just trying to make a general statement not knowing any specific information.
