This isn't news to anyone that actually goes to the city. Detroit is a great place to hang out on a weekend night. I've done so 2 of the last 3 weekends and have had a blast. Even when the Tigers aren't in town the bar scene is pretty cool and there is great food to be had also. I see plenty of people spending plenty of money and new places pop up often. I love Detroit and will never move away from it. I don't live in the city but I would if I had the means to.
