Dont Race Your Brand New Keep SRT8 Vs. A Beater

I would feel bad for the SRT-8 Driver, except....

This event you're watching is the "Days of Destruction" at Beech Ridge Raceway in Maine. As the name might indicate, the point is to destroy cars. Here's a bit from their website:

It's a jam-packed night of crash-thirsty drivers bending metal and defying danger. Treat the family to the Day of Destruction… you'll be talking about for months afterward.

It's NOT from Day of Destruction - Jalopnik got it wrong. I saw the video when it first happened over a year ago - it happened during "Spectator Drags" ---

Exactly like what they do at Owosso Speedway.

And heres them doing it:

If you look in the pits (infield) during this "race", you'll see some nice looking vehicles. The SRT8 had been whooping on EVERYONE but this is the race that ended his reign that night.

BUT, I will say, this isn't the first time Spectator Drags have gotten "physical"

there's a bit of a story.
Now, let's add in a bit of context.

This event you're watching is the "Days of Destruction" at Beech Ridge Raceway in Maine. As the name might indicate, the point is to destroy cars. Here's a bit from their website:

"It's a jam-packed night of crash-thirsty drivers bending metal and defying danger. Treat the family to the Day of Destruction… you'll be talking about for months afterward."

Get it? And driver's apparently sign waivers stating they expect to be crashed.

So who is to blame here: The guy who executes a legal (albeit dick) move in a crappy old S-10 or the fella who brings an $50K truck to something called "Days of Destruction?"

i'm not the author lol, its a poopy video weather it was DOD or not. i'd go all vin diesel F&F 1 on his ass and beat him with a wrench.

ok after watching your video i don't see how it couldn't be DOD, if it's held at multiple tracks as a traveling act. i dunno, ghey either way.
