Done with cam install!!! well almost

We just finished my cam and valvespring install... well every thing but 1 valve spring cause i dont have the retainer. but everthing else but the valve cover is on the car and ready to run as soon as we swap the one last spring!!!!!!

man i'm excited like any football team thats about to play the lions!!:icon_eek:

my vette will be cam'n like a mofo.... :peelout:
 
BTW Thanks 1BADAIR for letting me use your 3 armed puller, and balancer tool, and air tool thing (but i did TDC cause my air compressor was on the fritz)

Ms4 cam card says 239/240 .651 .608 111.5lsa... stock heads.... they are next on my list though... this cam should be nice... :icon_evil

Holy fuck thats alot of lift!! Are you sure you have enough piston to valve clearance??

yes. the vendor said it will work.. and i spun the crank about 30 times with a wrench and its did not make any bad noises...

That was going to be my first question. WOW! I've seen smaller cams that required the pistons to be notched.

ms4 will clear stock heads just fine. ;)

It's not the lift, it's the duration that causes clearance problems.
