Dog rabies shot - where do you go?

City is making me get a license for my dog. It's not a big deal, only 8 bucks, but they want his rabies shot to be up to date.

His 3 year rabies shot expired in May of t his year and the humane society wants $40 and wants him to restart, so he will need another shot next year.

I honestly do not feel comfortable giving him another rabies shot - everything I've read said that they last much longer than 3 years and that there are ill side effects going forward from too much vaccinating.

Is there a place that will give him another 3 year shot even though he is 4 months past due? It isn't about the money to me so much as the well being of my dog.

Doesn't somebody on here have a wife that works somewhere?

I have always used the humane society for his shots, neuter, and when he is sick.

I will call all about animals.

wife works at all about animals. 15 bucks for a 3 year if the dog is fixed, 25 bux if it isnt.

Try Amazon Animal Clinic on Warren between Middlebelt and Inkster. I don't know if he will do it, but he's pretty reasonable.

They're worth the drive.
