Does anyone know this car or who built it?

88 gt i pcked up from CL last saturday, its supposed to be a 331 stroker it has tfs heads on it. its also carb'd 5 spd 430 rear end gears i bought it in lincoln park.

just wondering if any one knows who used to own it or built it to see if the internals of the motor are what there are claimed to be

If i had a 331 stroker with a set of tfs heads, i definately wouldn't be running a performer intake?

Good luck on the internals!!! Pull the oil pan and see if the block is notched for a stroker

you can do a 331 without any notching...
 
yeah its going for a deep clean this week, it runs awsome im gonna get a victor jr intake and a street avenger carb i think the 750 is to much for it
 
dont know didnt get any paper work on the car, the guy wanted 4500 but with no paper on the motor i gave 3000 cash, the guy said he had a 11 sec capri and he bought this for his wife but it was to quick so he had to get rid of it, i asked him who built it and he said he was unsure so i wish i could find out who owned it before him so i could find out all that info so i really know what i have, it has lakewood struts 90/10 lakewood shocks 50/50 no sway bar and it really hooks
