I think Stenod did about 10 hours of work when it was there (first time to put in motor plates and second for some misc stuff like trans crossmember, ds measurement, etc) and when you consider how many hours it takes to build the thing, I really don't factor it in...I've spent 1000's of hours on it and I've never said I did something great...but trunk tries to take a stab at me so I decided to call him out on it...

And I'm not claiming anything about the kit I bought...if you didn't notice, it's for sale. I am building a more efficient setup to go faster...it worked good got me to my goals but it's time to move on.

And as I've said before, the term 'junk' is what a few key people in the lsx community have said about my car so I decided to just join the crowd and call it junk...it's probably as cheap as you can build an 8-second car though at 3400 lbs on dot tires.

Well im not sure exactly what they did to it but i thought you were able to drive it out...maybe im wrong....im not sure who paid for it nor do i care..if you paid it all then good for you...lol...

As far as the hours ago i think they did a little more than trans crossmembers...but hey you know more about it than me...And yes you do claim you did something great...everytime you talk about that care you claim it...Im sure you did spend a lot of time on it...

Bottom line is you already had the car....You bought an assembled turbo kit that was proven to go fast from harlen...You had someone else tune it....Sounds like you had alot of the work already handled...Thats like me buying a model home and all the furniture and claming i built the house....

Im sure you can go just as fast for alot cheaper....you may have done it cheap considering you used turbos but im sure your task has been already done by someone else before you..

Again, wrong. Only time I ever drove out of there is when comp paid for them to swap the lifters over to the morels...but it drove in too.

The car was 100% stock as far as suspension and what not...had to do all that along with the turbo stuff which is actually the easiest part of putting a car together...I did the whole fuel system, brakes, reference lines, specs of motor, bought all the parts, suspension, rear-end, found the deals, and put it all together. Believe it or not, there's nothing magical or special about this turbo kit vs any other...it has good parts but without the other 99%, it just makes for a good paperweight.

And I couldn't afford to have a shop do much on it...labor isn't cheap.

Why is it wrong for Al to get a nice Family/Daily driver he can mod if he wants too?

Maybe he should get a piece of shit Neon<like yours> then build a all our Racecar<like yours>. That makes tons of sense. :rolleyes:

Maybe calling mine a racecar makes you feel better about your slow car but I could have driven it anywhere you drove yours...I didn't have much time to cruise between going to the track but it was out and about at woodies a few times and on gratiot and the new tune made it like driving a stock car it was nuts...wish I had more time to cruise with it cuz it was mint...and the next setup will be the same. We are in the same league as far as drivability goes...

And don't be jealous of my neon...I can buy any car you can buy I just don't see the point in wasting the money...I got other plans with it.

They didn't do anything on the fuel system either...if you want to know exactly what they did, I can scan their invoice and send it to you???

I picked and bought the parts...Chuck at Best Machine did the machine work and assembly.

You weren't just asking questions...I told you I did the fuel system...then you said 'you thought you remembered' which is a back-door approach of saying I was lying...if you think I'm lying then say so...no need for the word games or the 'I thought I remembers.'

I'm over it though and I think this thread has been killed enough...or at least I'll stop contributing to the killing...later.
