And with a good tune it will run on a 150 shot forever. The trans' in those cars hold up pretty well too...especially considering the car is almost 4200lbs.
 
i dont know about a smart idea, but i know for a fact the motor had ATLEAST 50 bottles thru it and ran great when he traded it in... i'd say get it al, i think you'll really be happy with it. plus the leather's really nice in them.

Well you stick to the LSx engines then. You act as if it's like working on the space shuttle.

I never said Heads,cams, headers. Just bolt on a blower. He isn't going to build an 8 second twin turbo Camaro :D

So I should pull the tune off my Truck? I mean it's only to merge onto the highway :rolleyes:

I'm not the one looking to mod the marauder...Al had a cobra for a long time and he didn't do any engine-related mods (besides spray he didn't use) so why would he up and decide to throw 5k out and put on a blower? And if he did, would he have the time/tools to do it himself or would he need a shop to do it which means more $$$. I doubt that's what he would be looking to do with the thing but maybe you can ask him.

Don't be mad that your bennett built blower thing couldn't keep up with a bunch of used junk. Let me guess, you hand cut the compressor with a sawzall just so you could say you built it???

What are you going to say when I come out with a completely home-built combo that continues to go a second or more faster than you??? Then what will you bitch about?

If you can't figure out the green thing than you shouldn't be talking about cars falling on other people's heads...duhhrrrr.

Listen im not trying to be a dick but all you ever talk about is how your "junk" combo went so damn fast..... first of all you car wasnt junk and neither was the combo you used...you act like you took a $500 car and put a $1000 into it and ran 8's....so you had used parts....so does 90% of the people that run good numbers...not everyone buys shit brand new....

Second thing is are you saying your the only one who worked on it?? cause if i remember correctly it was sitting at stenids shop for some time....did they do anything to it?? If i remember correctly again you pushed it in and drove it out.....unless you went up there and did all the work yourself......

Didnt you buy the turbo kit already done too??? Cant really claim that if it was already built right??

Im not trying to knock what you did with that car...it ran a great number and very fast for what it was....but i think you need to stop running your mouth to everyone claiming your the worlds gretest car builder with the smallest budget.....

Actually it was pushed in, and pushed out. But it seems pretty commonplace for a few guys on here to just make shit up and then pass it on as fact...just like trunk harping about how my pops paid for most/some of my car...he hasn't put anything into it period. Even when he confirms this, trunk persists...again goes back to the making shit up thing.

I think Stenod did about 10 hours of work when it was there (first time to put in motor plates and second for some misc stuff like trans crossmember, ds measurement, etc) and when you consider how many hours it takes to build the thing, I really don't factor it in...I've spent 1000's of hours on it and I've never said I did something great...but trunk tries to take a stab at me so I decided to call him out on it...

And I'm not claiming anything about the kit I bought...if you didn't notice, it's for sale. I am building a more efficient setup to go faster...it worked good got me to my goals but it's time to move on.

And as I've said before, the term 'junk' is what a few key people in the lsx community have said about my car so I decided to just join the crowd and call it junk...it's probably as cheap as you can build an 8-second car though at 3400 lbs on dot tires.

He just helped Joe put his S/C one. It's really not that involved. Once again you act as if it's rocket science.

Don't be mad my car was just as streetable as yours with the auto...I drove the thing all around after I got the new street tune in and the car didn't overheat anymore...it was nice. Next one will be even more streetable, with just as much trunk-busting power.
