Dodge Durango....should I??

got a guy selling me a 2000 durango with 110k miles with 4x4, 5.9 motor....

Anybody here have any issues with durango's that I should take note of??

Anybody think they are good or bad trucks??

The only problems with the durango is that it eats gas and its leaking power steering fluid (he says it leaks out every 3 months)...

he is willing to sell it to me for 2500

I had that same car, 2000, 4x4, 5.9, everything and it got like 11mpg at best on the highway. The transmission governor pressure solenoid failed 3 times I think causing the transmission not to shift.

We were looking at a Durango's last year and after some research we quickly ran away from them. They get horrible gas mileage first off. Check out this site for customer complaints that you might want to consider.

o wow...sucks because I was ready to buy but it looks like I might just have to back out.....he said he gets 13-15 city and somewhere around 18-19 highway but after doing more research that does not seem right

i got a 99 5.2 it gets 12 mpg with 20 inch rims full tune up and like 16 on highway

It's a dodge durango . . . run away. run as far away as you can!

I see the owners rating on KBB is 4.2, that is low.
What you want is more like a 4.7, 4.8 - like a Ford
Crown Vic.
