Dodge Demon

From what I've read, wait till the real drag racers get it, cage it, put slicks on it and set it on kill. Should see LOW nines? Can't wait to see it.

I am sure we are going to get a better "explanation" at some point. I mean, when you think about it, maybe they had to de-tune it to be able to run at the track at all, since it technically isn't NHRA legal. Maybe it was an insurance issue?

Or, possibly, as stated several times in the article, you need lots of practice to get the car to run the numbers. With all it's magic apparently it is still pretty hard to launch it well.

lol....not really because I'm going to post times with this car. If it doesn't run what it's supposed to I will post it....if it runs the same or better, I'll still post it.

Even if it was only a 10.50 car (It's not), I'd still dig it.

LOL...I know. I just had to laugh as invariably it ends up going down this road.

By the way, Saso said he's selling his mustangs and getting a Demon so you can race each other. True? LOL.

My claims? I am not the one who took out full page ads claiming a car can run 9.65, then held a press event where the car ran 10.50 - Don't put this on me! Tell Dodge to get its house in order first! Don't make me the bad guy on this - you know everybody is thinking it!

So, I just read a whole 300+ comments on a FB post about this.
Disclaimer:
I'm a Ford guy but love the idea of the new Demon....

All of the comments I've seen have been this:
Dodge guy: car runs 9s
Not Dodge guy: all we can find is 10.5 or a corrected time of 9.xx
Dodge guy: nope just Google it.
Not Dodge guy: yea, that's the ad claim and no proof.

It's been an ongoing circle of that.

Is there a video of it going 9s? An actual production car that will be released for sale to the public

Brand loyalty is for beginners, Geoff. The big 3 have all made cool stuff.....although Fords are my favorite, since I'm not retarded, I can recognize when any of them build something cool.
